ALL THAT COUNT

It is a fact of life that unless we count all these things as loss compared to the supreme value of knowing Christ Jesus we cannot and will never know all that count in life. The supreme value of knowing Jesus should render everything else worthless in comparison. 

So we conclude that knowing God and His son Jesus Christ, to obey Him and keep His commandment is all that count. 

The knowledge and understanding of this is beyond mere intellect; it is faith, grace, service and sacrifice. It is to be in Christ. It is to have personal communion with Christ in a different way to the old way of life, which we were living while we were in the flesh. By the time we come to know Christ our former way of life will look stupid and foolish to us; the things in the world that used to attract us will become rubbish compared to the excellent of the knowledge of  Christ. "Old things have passed away; and behold all things have become new".

"It is be born again"

Now, if all that counts is to know Jesus, then we have to suffer the loss of everything for His sake, for there is nothing in the world that is worth dying for. Its all vanity when compared to the excellent of knowing Christ and entering His glory. 

So what else can count? Is it gold, silver, titles, ranks and vain glory. None of these is permanent, all shall be gone one day but who ever is of Christ shall abide forever. 

"For what will it profit a man if he gain the whole world, and loses his soul? or what can a man give in exchange for his soul? Mark 8:36.

If all that matters is the salvation of our souls, then should we not lose everything in order to gain Christ and glory of the father?. 

BE A FOOL FOR CHRIST AND COUNT EVERYTHING EARLY AS RUBBISH FOR HIS SAKE!
