Hope Explained
"For the Scripture says, 'Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.'" — Romans 10:11 Hope is the confident assurance that something good can still come out of what appears hopeless. As long as there is life, there is hope. Hope sees possibility where others see impossibility. It brings joy to the empty, strength to the weary, and courage to the discouraged. The Bible says, "A living dog is better than a dead lion" (Ecclesiastes 9:4). This reminds us that as long as we are alive, God is not finished with us. No matter how painful or difficult your present season may be, remember that it is only a season. Seasons do not last forever—they come and they pass. Sadly, many people place their hope in temporary things. Some trust in their education, professional skills, certificates, wealth, relationships, or career.
