THE MERCIES OF THE LORD
"It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness." — Lamentations 3:22–23 The mercy of the Lord is a powerful force that brings pardon instead of judgment. It is an expression of God's unfailing love that grants undeserved favor to those who seek Him. Mercy opens doors that no human effort can open, restores what sin has destroyed, and gives hope where there seems to be none. The Bible declares that the mercies of the Lord are new every morning. This means that every new day is another opportunity to experience God's forgiveness, compassion, and lovingkindness. No matter the failures of yesterday, His mercy offers a fresh beginning today.
