PSALM 23 — PART 2
“He makes me lie down in green pastures, He leads me beside quiet waters.” — Psalm 23:2 Jesus knows you better than you know yourself. Your green pastures and quiet waters are not necessarily found somewhere else; they are found wherever the voice of God is leading you. You cannot hear God’s voice while walking in sin and unbelief. God is willing to lead His children, but if you become lost in the world, how will you hear the Shepherd’s voice? The Word of God is the compass that leads us to green pastures and quiet waters. From the beginning, humanity’s problem has been darkness. That is why God said, “Let there be light.” The world is searching for light. Nations, leaders, families, and individuals need divine direction because darkness is increasing. There can be no true green pasture without light, and no development without divine direction.
