THE BLESSED MAN
By Evang. Taiye Ajayi I'd like to begin today's blog with a simple but important question: Who is a blessed man? The Bible gives us many descriptions of a blessed man. One of the clearest is found in Psalm 1:1-3: "Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord... He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water..." Yesterday, we looked at who a cursed man is. Today, I encourage you to pay close attention to what God wants to teach you about the life of a truly blessed man. The Bible says, "The blessing of the Lord makes rich, and He adds no sorrow with it" (Proverbs 10:22). God's blessings rest upon those who trust Him completely. Abraham trusted God, and the Lord blessed him abundantly—with silver, gold, livestock, and great possessions. Yet his greatest blessing was not his wealth but his relationship with God. One ...
