Stay With God

Today's blog is titled "Stay With God."

I have discovered something more rewarding than hard labor and more precious than earthly achievements. It is the ability to remain with God even when nothing spectacular seems to be happening in the place of prayer.

One truth I want to make clear is this: it takes time to know God.

While God can reveal Himself to you the moment you call upon Him and can answer your prayers instantly, developing an intimate relationship with Him requires consistency, patience, and commitment. Deep fellowship with God is not built in a day; it is cultivated over time by those who choose to stay with Him.

Many people desire God's power, but few are willing to remain in His presence long enough to know His heart. The secret of spiritual growth is not speed but consistency. Those who stay with God eventually become like Him.

One of the greatest blessings that comes from staying with God is His presence. This is not debatable. Whether you are a musician, singer, pastor, evangelist, prophet, teacher, entrepreneur, cook, driver, or professional in any field, you need to carry God's presence.

The presence of God is what distinguishes you from others. Skills may open doors, but God's presence sustains you and causes you to excel. Every believer has the capacity to host His presence, but there is a price to pay.

There is the price of concentration in prayer, the price of obedience to God's Word, the price of surrender, and the price of enduring seasons of testing and preparation. God often uses these processes to shape our character and deepen our dependence on Him.

Many people quit too soon because they do not see immediate results. However, the greatest treasures of God are often found by those who remain faithful when nothing seems to be happening. The seasons of waiting are not wasted seasons; they are seasons of preparation.

Stay with God when prayers seem unanswered.

Stay with God when life becomes difficult.

Stay with God when others walk away.

Stay with God when you do not understand His ways.

If you remain with Him, you will eventually discover that His presence is more valuable than any earthly possession, and knowing Him is the greatest achievement of life.

Prayer

Father, give me the grace to remain with You regardless of the circumstances around me. Help me to seek Your face diligently and to value Your presence above all else. Let my life reflect Your glory as I walk closely with You every day. In Jesus' name, Amen.
