TALK TO GOD ABOUT IT
By Evang. Taiye Ajayi
Trusting God in difficult times is proof of your dependence on Him.
Good morning, our esteemed readers. We trust that God's light has brightened your heart as you take time to read and apply these lessons to your daily life. This daily blog blesses me personally because I often read it over and over again. The reason is simple: these are not merely my ideas, but inspirations from the Holy Spirit to this generation.
We are dedicated to helping individuals navigate life's challenges through biblical wisdom, counseling, and practical guidance that bring clarity, healing, and transformation. If you find any of these writings useful, please share them with a friend—you may be helping to change a life.
The best of men can still fail. The wisdom of this world fades with time. Today, the Lord wants to speak to someone through this message titled, "Talk to God About It."
How you see God determines how much you can receive from Him. The Scriptures tell us that Jesus could not perform many miracles in His hometown because of the people's unbelief. They said, "A prophet is not honored in his own hometown," and as a result, only a few miracles were done there.
In the same way, many people today act as though God is limited and unable to help them. Instead of turning to Him, they spend all their time discussing their problems with friends and family.
The Bible clearly states, "Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength" (Jeremiah 17:5). God desires a relationship with His children. He wants you to bring every challenge, concern, and burden to Him.
What does it mean to talk? It means to speak, discuss, share, and express your thoughts and desires. God wants you to do exactly that with Him.
The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God once said that it is easier to talk to God than to talk to the president of many nations or even a local government chairman. Throughout my years of walking with God, I have discovered that God desires fellowship with us. He speaks to us through His Word, by His Spirit, and through personal encounters.
One of my favorite things to do when I am alone is to talk with God. He reveals truths from His Word, teaches me lessons from history, shares His desires, and sometimes speaks to me about His plans for my life. Through prayer and fellowship, He brings guidance, wisdom, and peace.
Say this aloud:
"God is so great, yet He has made my heart His dwelling place. I am alone, but never lonely. I serve a living and speaking God."
The jealousy of God protects His own from the schemes of the enemy. We do not serve a god made with human hands; we serve the living God who hears and answers prayers.
Do you know that God is interested in even the smallest details of your life? He cares about your family, your career, your future, your relationships, and even the decisions that seem insignificant. He wants you to share every concern with Him.
Everyone faces challenges. Many people are already struggling with their own burdens, so why not take your concerns to the One who is able to carry them all? You too can talk to God.
Many people struggle to know what step to take next in life—whom to marry, which job to accept, what business to start, or where to live—because they have not learned to seek God's guidance. Yet God delights in directing those who trust Him.
Finally, seek God early. Do not wait until life's challenges overwhelm you before you turn to Him. Do not wait until you are burdened by the cares of this world.
Now that you are young is the best time to know God. Many people shed secret tears because they did not seek Him earlier in life. They realize that they would have avoided painful mistakes, unhealthy relationships, wrong career choices, and costly decisions if they had walked closely with God from the beginning.
My brother, my sister, now that you are young, find God.
Talk to Him about everything.
He is listening.
Prayer
Father, thank You for loving us and inviting us into fellowship with You. Help us to trust You with every area of our lives. Teach us to bring our concerns, dreams, fears, and decisions before You in prayer. Draw us closer to You and help us hear Your voice clearly. In Jesus' name, Amen.
