IT IS TIME TO KNOW YOUR FATHER Part 1

Good evening friends in Nigeria and across the nations of the world.

What a Friend we have in Jesus Christ.

For those who are seeking God for a deeper and more intimate relationship, I encourage you to read this to the end. And for those who are trusting God for a greater walk with Him, this is a moment to become even more focused. What God has prepared for you in your walk with Him is more valuable than anything you could ever imagine.

The primary purpose of Jesus coming to earth was to give sinners the opportunity to become children of God — sons and daughters of the Most High. Wherever you are reading this from today, it is time to truly know the Father.

Today, I want to share with you one important attribute of God — the Love of God.

The Scriptures say in John 3:16:

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”

The love of God reaches out to us even in the midst of our sin. The Father’s love is greater than we can ever imagine. It is an unconditional love — an agape love. We did nothing to deserve it and nothing to earn it. It is a love that pursues us even when we are not seeking it.

This love cannot be fully understood by human intellect or the wisdom of the world. The Bible tells us that there is no greater love than this: that a man lays down his life for his friends.

The greatest demonstration of love is sacrifice — and the ultimate sacrifice is death.

Jesus, the Son of the Living God, came on a divine assignment into this broken world. The greatest desire of the Father is that all people should be saved.

This morning, the Holy Spirit reminded me from Ezekiel 33 that God desires even the wicked to turn from their ways and live. He has called us as watchmen and messengers to bring lost souls back to Him. The Scripture warns that if we ignore this responsibility, their blood may be required from our hands.

It is important to understand that God’s desire is for all to be saved — the Muslim, the Hindu, the unbeliever, and even those who call themselves Christians but have not yet experienced the transforming power of Jesus Christ.

In the Kingdom of God, we do not merely practice religion. Instead, we live out the life of Christ that has been placed within us.

The love of the Father cannot be explained by words alone; it is revealed to us through the Holy Spirit who lives within us.

When we disconnect ourselves from the love that flows from God, life becomes empty and ordinary. But when we remain in His love, we become carriers of light wherever we go.

No man can be truly blessed until he knows the Father and receives His love. The love that people give us on earth cannot compare with the love that flows from Jesus Christ.

Think about the sacrifice of the cross — the shame He endured, the pain He suffered, and the rejection He faced. He went through all of that because of you.

No one could ever repay such a price. We can only receive it through the mercy and grace that He freely offers.

Today is an opportunity for you to experience this love. It is not merely a feeling — it is a deep knowing that God desires to reveal to your heart.

Jesus said in His Word:

"I am the door."

"I am the good shepherd."

Today, you have the opportunity to surrender your life to Him.

If this is your desire, you can say this simple prayer:

Prayer

Our Father, I desire to know You more. Help me to constantly drink from the well of Your love. Give me the grace to keep my eyes fixed on Your Word and to walk closely with You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
