Christ: The Saviour

 

«“She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.” — Matthew 1:21»

The scripture above clearly reveals the purpose for which Jesus Christ was born. Every person who comes into this world has a purpose and an assignment that makes his or her life meaningful. In fact, the purpose of life is to live a life of purpose.

Jesus was born for a divine assignment: to save His people from their sins.

The Bible says, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” — John 3:16.

Jesus came not to do His own will, but the will of the Father who sent Him. His earthly assignment was not a temporary mission. Even today, His work of saving, restoring, delivering, and reconciling people to God continues.

Jesus Is the Saviour

The salvation Jesus brings is the answer to humanity's deepest problem—sin and separation from God.

He is the remedy for spiritual death, bondage, and the emptiness that sin produces. Jesus is alive! He is not a dead Saviour. He is still saving souls today, and He can save you.

Humanity is constantly searching for light, peace, meaning, and hope. Many have searched through religion, wealth, fame, pleasure, education, achievements, and even the worship of gods made with human hands. Yet, after all these pursuits, many still remain empty.

Jesus did not come to create another religion. He came to reconcile humanity to God and to save all who will receive Him as Lord and Saviour.

There is a deep desire within every human being to know and worship God. But when that desire is directed toward the wrong things, we try to fill the emptiness with pleasure, entertainment, money, relationships, travel, food, fame, and material possessions.

Yet none of these things can satisfy the soul.

You may eat the best food, make money, become famous, travel around the world, or achieve great success, but none of these can replace God in your heart.

Jesus said:

«“I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.” — John 6:35»

Only Jesus can satisfy the deepest hunger of the human soul.

Everyone Needs A Saviour

The Bible tells us that “all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” — Romans 3:23.

This means that nobody can save himself.

No government can save the human soul. Technology cannot save the human soul. Money cannot save the human soul. Education cannot save the human soul. Human wisdom cannot save the human soul.

We all need a Saviour.

And that Saviour is Jesus Christ.

Perhaps you have tried many things to find peace. You may have thought that money would satisfy you, only to discover that wealth could not give you peace. Perhaps you pursued education, knowledge, relationships, business, success, or pleasure, hoping that one of them would fill the emptiness within you.

But the world cannot give what only Jesus can give.

Jesus said:

«“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you.” — John 14:27»

True peace is found in Christ.

Come to the Saviour

Jesus is still calling people to Himself today.

He is calling the sinner to repentance.

He is calling the broken to healing.

He is calling the lost back home.

He is calling the weary to rest.

He is calling those who are bound to freedom.

He is calling humanity back to God.

You do not have to continue searching in places that cannot satisfy you.

Jesus is the Saviour.

He died for our sins, He rose again, and He is alive forevermore. His invitation is still open: come to Him, believe in Him, surrender your life to Him, and receive Him as your Lord and Saviour.

The world may promise you peace but leave you empty.

Jesus gives you peace that the world cannot give.

The world may give you temporary pleasure.

Jesus gives you eternal life.

The world may offer you many paths.

Jesus says, “I am the way and the truth and the life.” — John 14:6.

Today, do not reject the Saviour.

Jesus can save you. Jesus can restore you. Jesus can forgive you. Jesus can give you a new life.

Come to Christ today.

Christ is the Saviour.
