My Soul Is Not for Sale
“For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?” — Mark 8:36–37
There was once a young man who desperately wanted to become wealthy. He watched his friends succeed and became impatient with his own journey. One day, he was offered an opportunity that promised quick riches, but it required him to compromise his values and abandon his faith. He was tempted, but he remembered that no amount of money could buy back his peace, purpose, or soul. He walked away.
The riches, honour, and achievements of this world can never be compared with the value of a single soul in the eyes of God. Heaven rejoices when a sinner is saved through Jesus Christ.
Many people have traded their integrity, peace, relationships, and even their souls for temporary pleasures and possessions. But everything this world offers will eventually perish.
Young men and women, learn patience. Pray, work, trust God, and wait for His timing. The unhealthy craving for wealth can push a person into unimaginable things.
Do not exchange your glorious destiny for what will not last. The Bible says, “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world.” — 1 John 2:15.
When the time is right, God is able to bring the blessings He has prepared for you.
Your soul is priceless. Don't sell it for what is temporary. My soul is not for sale.
